When you greet someone in Kinyarwanda, you should make sure that you are applying the right term at the right time of the day (morning, afternoon, or evening). It is always important to remember that in Rwandan culture people expect to be addressed with respect, especially elderly and people of high position in the society such as public, private, and customary administrators.
