Showing the images of the Rwandan local market in Kigali and some other areas of the country introduces better the topic which will be discussed in this unit.

Procedure

Show images and ask students to identify the items they see in every picture.

Ask learners to name the items they see on the pictures. Then write them on the blackboard.

Read those words and ask learners to read.

Ask learners to write down other market items other than those which they see in pictures.items

Introduce the subject matter directly.
