Cultural Note: Mode of transportation

In Rwandan culture, it is expected, at all times, that a younger person moves from the seat and give it to an older person without being requested to do it. He should do it willingly and with respect. When people travel buy bus, taxi, and commuter, they have the same expectation from young people to genuinely give their seats to older people without any complain. If this does not happen, such young people would be considered disrespectful.
