Note
Student Notes

When you apply various forms of greetings you should use them appropriately with regard to the time of the day or how frequent you’ve met. For example, “waramutse/mwaramutse”; “waramutseho/mwaramutseho” is used in the morning; “wiriwe/mwiriwe”; “wiriweho/mwiriweho” is used in the afternoon and evening; “uraho/muraho” is used any time to a person you have met after a long time. “Urabeho/murabeho” is used to take a leave of a person you don’t expect to meet soon. “Wirirwe/mwirirwe” is used to take a leave of a person you may meet again any time of the day.
