Affirmation Group1: Active verbs (root + UGOL) Selugol - Selu - Selen - Selee The affirmative form for active verbs is built as follows: root + U, EN, EE Group2: Reflexive verbs (root + AGOL) Joodagol - Joodo - Joododen - Joododee The affirmative form for reflexive verbs is built as follows: root + O, ODEN, ODEE Group3: Passive verbs (root + EGOL) this group can’t be put in the imperative. 2. Negation: The negative form is built with WATA + Affirmative form for both groups. Selugol: Joodagol: Wata selu Wata joodo Wata selen Wata joododen Wata selee Wata joododee PS: In some areas you might encounter some people who put the ending between “wata” and the rest of the verb at the second person. e.g: Wata en selu; wata en joodo
